Hi hi! I'm SBParty and I also go by Ryusa (my in-game name).I play video games, analyze and theorize about the lore (mainly Genshin for now, will probably do more), I'm a smol streamer (I'm still on a scuffed set-up tho) & I draw/doodle a bit when I feel like it :3

General Q&A

How did you come up with SBParty and Ryusa as your names?
I don't remember how I came up with Ryusa (not my real name), but I've been using it as my in-game name for a long time if I end up playing as a character within the story (aka as the protagonist)
The S and B in SBParty are the initials of an anime that I watched, Sengoku Basara; the "party" is there because one of the main characters, Date Masamune, enjoys fighting and would refer to such encounters as "parties"; Sengoku Basara is pretty much about the Sengoku Era, which was a period of warfare in Japan (the anime is ridiculous at times, so don't expect complete historical accuracy), but yea, I went with it; I wouldn't say it's the greatest anime of all time, but it has a special place in my heart :3
*I'm explaining my names' origins because somebody thought that the SB stood for Super Bowl and lemme just say, I don't like American football at all XD
What is your streaming set-up?
It is literally just my iPhone XR with a pair of Bluetooth earphones lol
I hope to get better equipment when I have saved more funds
What got you into streaming?
It just seemed like a fun thing to do. In college, I often watched streamers and I don’t remember exactly when, but I just thought that it was something that I’d like to try out at least once and if I ended up not enjoying it, then at least I would know it just wasn’t something that I would do and I could still make content some other way.

What do you focus on in terms of Genshin lore? Interest/specialty?
I usually focus on the constellation of each character and analyze how each constellation fits into the lore through symbolism, connections, etc. I have a degree in Latin, which usually comes in handy for the constellation names! Although I focus on this aspect, I am still interested in the overall lore of the game; it's just that I'm not as knowledgeable on topics such as leylines, Istaroth, the overall timeline, the Harbingers, etc. but don't let that stop you from talking to me or asking me about such topics!
How long does it take for you to write and post your lore threads?
It honestly depends because one thing that does not always stay the same is the amount of knowledge you gain over time. Sometimes I find information that I feel would be good to include in my threads, which understandably increases the amount of time for me to work on them. There are also times when I can’t work on my threads for one reason or another. The shortest amount of time it took for me to create and post a lore thread was within a day. I have taken a few weeks for another thread while a different one took me a few days, so overall, the amount of time spent on threads varies. I have made it a goal for myself to catch up as best as I can on all of the characters’ constellations. If it doesn’t work out in the end, it is what it is, but I’ll try my best! Always remember that I too am a human; therefore I’m not perfect and these threads take time and effort regardless. It’s content that I am making because I enjoy analyzing the constellations and giving my own thoughts/interpretations, but I’m also not a machine that can effortlessly spit them out on a daily basis. So I ask that you be patient because I want to make content not only for my viewers/audience but also content that I am proud of making because of all the time and effort I put into it :3
Any advice for the players who want to get started on lore?
Everybody starts wherever their interest is piqued, there's no right answer for this in my opinion. There is a lot to lore, so you honestly can see something that's interesting and start from there. For me, I started from looking at the constellations of the characters in Genshin. I know that some started from researching the game's connections to Gnosticism & others started from reading books/works in the archives. I will say that if and when you start out on lore, it helps to find a place to jot down your thoughts maybe online (Twitter, Tumblr, Google Docs, Drive, Microsoft Word, etc.) or on paper (notebook, notepad, etc.)
No need to worry if people have already written about what you're interested about, you never know if your thoughts will pique somebody else's interests & it can be fun to have discussions with others about lore! (Also I should mention that this just goes for lore in general)
